"So far the most beautiful church I ever visited. The number of details in structure, shape and interiors is MASSIVE. That was the absolute highlightof my eurotrip. There is no way to skip this sanctuary while visiting Triest. It's a definite must-see. I guarantee you that once you get there you'll find extremely difficult to leave. Beautiful yet monumental, absolute top spot. I definitely will get back there. Now few useful tips: there is a free of charge parking spot just next to the entrance, but it's limited. However, there's much bigger parking lot few hundred meters before the entrance (also free), and it's almost always empty, so no worries. There is a coffee shop next to the stairs, where you can get a hot beverage, cake or a snack. There's a beautiful view on the top of the hill, on the back of the church as the location is on the cliff, facing the sea and overlooking Triest. Very pictoresque and beautiful. In summary: a must-visit! Top of the top of my best recommendations!..."
