"I had just spent a good hour or so exploring the Petite France section of Strasbourg, and I was keen to move on to something else, so I booted upGoogle on my phone. The closest landmark/sight to where I stood was this little church, so that became my next stop. Just inside, I think it was on the left, is a small stained glass window that gives you the most recent important event in the life of this church - the bombing by the Allies that burned this church to the ground, during World War II. It is an austere building, fairly plain and serene, and a nice place to pass some moments of reflection and quiet...."
