"Bronbeek Museum is located in a former royal palace built in the early 19th century. In 1845, King William III expanded the palace and donated it tothe Dutch state in 1859. The museum was opened to the public in 1966. It has a permanent exhibition on the history of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army (KNIL), which was the Dutch colonial army in Indonesia. The artifact storage is very neat and well-documented. In addition to the permanent exhibition, there are also temporary exhibitions. The route to the Bronbeek Museum can be reached by train from Arnhem Central Station to Arnhem Presikhaaf Station. From Arnhem Presikhaaf Station, you can walk to the Bronbeek Museum.
