The Central African Republic, is a landlocked country is at the very center of Africa. It is bordered by, Chad to the north, Cameroon to the west, Sudan and South Sudan to the east, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

It would be a best places to encounter huge forest elephants and western lowland gorillas.

However it is one of the most impoverished and historically unstable countries in the world and so travel here is not advisable.
