Museo de Carruajes, Seville
Museum in Seville

The Museo de Carruajes or Museum of Carriages in Seville opened on 17 October 1999 with the aim of becoming part of the city’s cultural circuit, informing the public about the fascinating world of horse-drawn carriages. There are a few similar museums in Spain, but this one is probably the largest and the most interesting.
There are not too many carriages here but they are beautiful and in good state of conservation, they are are sorted by different types and they are arranged in a entertaining display.
In addition to the exhibition and the building, we offer different areas where you can hold exhibitions or any type of artistic activity, meeting, cocktails, shows, etc., all in a unique setting, the world of the 16th-century Seville convent.
The Museo de Carruajes appears in our Complete Guide to Visiting Seville!
