Iraq Travel Guide
This middle eastern country, which contains ancient Mesopotamia and Babylonia , lies at the north end of the Persian. It borders, Syria and Turkey to the north, Iran to the east, Kuwait to the south, Saudi Arabia to the south-west and Jordan to the west.
While mostly desert, there are fertile plains in the deltas of the Euphrates and Tigris rivers.
Despite the archaeological sites and impressive landscapes few tourists choose to vacation in Iraq due to the ongoing political instability.
