Welcome to Crimea

The Crimean Peninsula is located on the northern coast of the Black Sea. It is shaped like a diamond and connected to Ukraine by two narrow necks of land.

Craggy mountains, large forests, picturesque beaches and vast vineyards populate the region making it perfect for hikers and cyclists.

The peninsula was the site of the Crimean War, between 1854 and 1856, and the infamous Charge of the Light Brigade. Unfortunately that was not the only conflict as currently the area is a disputed region claimed by both Ukraine and Russia.
